Why GATR and why these workshops?

GATR has a long standing commitment to enabling and empowering local communities by using technology and business skills innovatively to make a difference. By donating the time, skills and knowledge of employees.GATR aims to build the capacity of the not for profit sector and contribute to the sustainability of charities across the Malaysia.

Who should attend?

The GATR skills workshops are targeted at Students, staff,volunteers and trustees of small charities that are looking to improve knowledge and understanding, develop skills or build confidence on a variety of topics. The workshops are delivered by teams of GATR volunteers, some of whom are subject matter experts in the topics – but all of whom are very approachable and committed to ensuring that you get the most out of your day.

The workshops very deliberately have a high level of volunteers so that there are plenty of people on hand who can work with participants in small groups or individually, giving you personal and intensive coaching and support.

Each attendee will be assigned a GATR volunteer who will support them before and during the workshop and will also be a source of help after the workshop if any charities have any ad hoc questions.
